Box Storage, Box Splitting, and Pasta Sampling

At Cala, one of my key projects involved modifying the robot's design to reduce its overall height. In 3D CAD, I made several adjustments: I shortened the box storage and decreased the number of units to just one, and I reduced the height of the pasta samplers and also reduced the number of units to two.

Box Storage and Splitter

The Box storage system stores the stacked serving containers. As more containers are required, this system pushes a new stack into the Box Splitter.

The function of the Box Splitter is to separate one container from the stack, and then dispense the container to the assembly zone, where pasta and sauce are put into the container.

Pasta Sampler

The Pasta Sampling system stores dry pasta and dispenses one serving of pasta at a time. This portion of pasta is then transported to the cooking zone to be cooked, then to the assembly zone.
